Our Story
Easy Books TX was born out of real-life experience — the kind that comes with long hours, hard work, and learning things the hard way.
Brett spent over 20 years as an independent contractor in the oil and gas industry, specializing in quality inspection and surveillance. While he was an expert in the field, bookkeeping and tax time were a whole different beast. After several frustrating and stressful years of disorganized records and painful income tax filings, Brett took matters into his own hands. He rolled up his sleeves, dove into QuickBooks Online, and mastered the skills needed to get his finances in order — and keep them that way.
Dustie, with a strong background in procurement for the oil and gas sector, joined the mission. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence made her a perfect fit to help clients maintain clean, accurate books. Like Brett, she dedicated herself to learning the ins and outs of bookkeeping to make sure every Easy Books TX customer receives the highest level of service.
